Job Summary of Customer Support Administrator:

Tasked with taking care of clients' needs, managing the paperwork required for the conveyance of freight, and carrying out other administrative and customer service responsibilities that are essential for the service center's daily operations.

Responsibilities of Customer Support Administrator:

  • Execute clerical functions that consist of upholding records, photocopying, answering telephone calls, keying in data, classifying/distributing correspondence and packages
  • Confirm and wrap up all of the required documentation and reports
  • Accurately identifying customer needs and offering tailored services is a top priority for our customer assistance team
  • Ensure that all information is entered accurately and in a timely manner to prevent any delays in the freight shipment process.
  • Oversee the process of cargo pick-up, as per stated guidelines
  • Help clients by utilizing phone, email, and fax to handle all types of inquiries, not limited to but including rate evaluations, shipment tracking, queries on billing and invoicing, and other related issues.
  • Arrange the delivery appointments for the transport of goods
  • Confirm the accuracy of the Hours-of-Service records of the drivers in compliance with the regulations and report any inconsistencies to the relevant leader
  • In order to assist with city operations seamlessly, you may need to take up various responsibilities such as overseeing the check-in process for drivers and processing all documentation quickly and with high accuracy. Additionally, you would need to coordinate all the different drop-off situations in a swift and efficient manner to ensure that the city's operations are running smoothly. Furthermore, you would be responsible for scheduling and organizing driver collections as well.
  • Work in tandem with sales, operations, and other affiliated departments or service centers to ensure customer needs are met and all problems are appropriately addressed
  • Review the cash and checks received, reconcile them, and proceed with the preparation of deposits. Also, prepare COD check remittances to customers, when necessary
  • Following all relevant laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, is of utmost importance to ensure business continuity and integrity

Qualification of Customer Support Administrator:

  • This vacancy requires a high school diploma or GED as a basic requirement, and candidates should consider obtaining this qualification before applying
  • Excellent phone etiquettes and interpersonal abilities are preferred skills for the job role
  • A solid grasp of fundamental mathematical concepts and operations, with or without the assistance of a calculator
  • The ability to interpret and comprehend the intricacies of FedEx service offerings is important in assisting clients to make informed decisions
  • Preferably having ten-key skills
  • The ability to manage confidential information proficiently is an indispensable trait in the legal and medical professions
  • Demonstrating the ability to comply with directives and complete training requirements is key to achieving proficiency in any profession
  • The capacity to work comfortably with others in a team atmosphere as well as being proactive and working autonomously is an important ability to have in the work environment
